The Online Partnerships Group (OPG) uses our portfolio of product solutions, including AdSense and DoubleClick tools, to help online publishers grow their businesses. You'll provide innovative, industry-leading online advertising solutions for publishers and developers and proactively identify new opportunities. Some of the largest publishers on the web rely on our products and we're always trying to exceed their expectations and strengthen our long-term partner relationships. Our team helps grow Google's business with the largest online publishers and provides account management for users of AdSense, DoubleClick and more.
As a Channel Partner Manager, you will join our Channel Partnerships Team in the early stages of strategy development and team growth. You will work closely with our channel partners as their business partner/consultant while having a common goal of growing our publisher base, and develop strong, successful, long-term partnerships with them. You will work in a continuous improvement environment where you can proactively identify process and business improvement opportunities, and test and implement them. You will collaborate closely with regional and global colleagues in Channel Partnerships Team
Responsibilities
  • Provide account management and business consultation for our channel partner portfolio.
  • Take on partnership building with potential channel partners - identifying and managing partnership agreements.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership team and a broad spectrum of other functions, such as Product Engineering, Finance and Marketing.
  • Develop and deliver customized trainings and documentation to accommodate the channel partners’ and child publishers’ product knowledge needs.
  • Help develop analysis on product features requirements.
Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Client-facing working experience in advertising, mobile, e-commerce, publishing, online services.
  • Experience in technology/online industry (e.g. consumer mobile products, the Internet, online products, customers, online advertising technologies and strategies, and market dynamics.)
  • Ability to speak and write English and Hindi fluently and idiomatically.
Preferred qualifications
  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Degree in a technical area, with ability to grasp complex technical product aspects
  • Experience in a customer-facing role and stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of ad networks and yield management practices
  • Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript
  • Excellent communication skills. Proven business consultation skills.
