Facebook is seeking an experienced people manager to join our Ads Integrity team. Ads Integrity ensures our platform is a trustworthy place for users, developers, and advertisers to create and exchange digital goods and services. We focus on unlocking new revenue sources and thwarting attacks that threaten our users' safety and the company's bottom line. Our focus on data analysis allows us to work effectively with our engineering teams to build proprietary tools and techniques that touch all the money and ads coming into Facebook. In addition, we manually review ambiguous activity to classify and deconstruct emerging patterns and trends. This individual will assume management responsibilities in developing our talented team members, as well as drive cross-functional impact with our internal partners. Successful candidates for this job are experienced people managers, self-motivated, data-driven, flexible to constant changes and are problem-solvers who think creatively and propose solutions. This position is located in our Hyderabad, India office. We are looking for a Lead who will strongly influence the business decisions by developing and institutionalizing a data-driven analysis culture. The primary role will be to identify high-impact business problems and develop viable and scalable solutions while mentoring and coaching team members. This individual will assume general management responsibilities while serving as a cross functional liaison; working with product, engineering, global policy, and other partners within the company to drive Facebook’s most important strategic priorities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage broad functions, projects, and teams
- Develop, implement, and manage Ads Integrity activities and strategies that will help scale operations
- Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations and influence the direction of the business by effectively communicating results and working with cross functional groups
- Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team Coach, mentor, motivate and lead the members of the team to drive impactful results
- Establish team goals and work with direct reports on strategies for executing, measuring
- Build scalable review systems that approve only high quality business content onto our platform while providing great advertiser experience
- Utilize deep product and industry knowledge while serving as a strong cross-functional leader
- Lead complex investigations of applications that are malicious, violating policies or quality standards
- Gather and synthesizing relevant data to support proposed changes
- Execute projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research and strategy development
- Identify trends and key insights to drive impact to team goals, including user experience, bottom-line revenue, and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Degree in a quantitative discipline (applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, operations research, or related field). Masters Preferred
- 5+ years experience and three years of people management
- Project management experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Success in leading projects from inception to completion
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present business cases
- Solid leadership skills and ability to direct and motivate staff with integrity and ethics
